Service · Controls & programming

Programming and control for a defined function.

Studio Besselink can develop a focused controller, sensor system, interface or software tool as part of a machine improvement, test setup or stand-alone device.

Examples include multichannel temperature monitoring or control, test sequences, data logging and simple operator interfaces. Safety and compliance responsibilities are agreed separately for each project.

Typical requirements

Typical requirements.

  • Multiple temperature channels need to be measured, displayed, logged or controlled.
  • An existing manual sequence should be made more consistent or easier to operate.
  • Sensor information needs to be displayed, recorded or used to control an action.
  • A mechanical prototype requires a dedicated controller for functional testing.

Scope

What the work can include.

  1. Requirements & architecture

Define operating states, inputs, outputs, interfaces and the division of responsibilities.

  2. Electrical integration

Select suitable control hardware, sensors, actuators, operator controls and enclosure components.

  3. Programming & interface

Implement sequence logic, parameter handling, status indication and relevant data functions.

  4. Build & commissioning

Assemble the agreed controller, integrate it with the equipment and validate the defined functions.

Useful result

A purpose-built controller or software function matched to a clearly defined machine or test requirement.
